How to Set Up LinkedIn

LinkedIn is the largest professional network across the world. This is one of those professional platforms that is essential to your career and professional journey helping you find jobs, projects, and connect with world’s professionals.

To sign up for LinkedIn and create your profile, please follow the following steps:

  1. Click on the signup link here.
  2. Enter your first and last name.

Please note that you must use your real name when creating your profile. Using company names of pseudonyms is not allowed.

  1. Enter your email address and set a password.
  2. Click Join Now.
  3. Complete any additional steps as needed.

Signing In Your LinkedIn Account

  1. Use the link to the login page to sign in to your account
  2. Enter the email address you registered with.
  3. Enter the password associated with your account.
  4. Click Sign In.

If you sign in using https://www.linkedin.com/, use the email address and password fields at the top of the page and click Sign In. Please don’t click the Join Now button.

Signing Out of Your LinkedIn Account

  1.  Click the Me icon at the top right of the LinkedIn homepage.
  2. Select Sign Out from the drop-down menu.
